The Fisheries Law Course for Fishermen is designed using a participatory approach that recognizes the experience and knowledge of fishermen themselves. It is written in accessible language and organized into four modules—the sector’s legal framework, formalization, fisheries management, and enforcement. This initiative aims to make the law more accessible to the public and promote formal, responsible fishing practices that are aligned with the protection of marine ecosystems.
