Noelia Chavez Arambulo has been working as an accounting assistant in the Administration, Control, and Human Resources department of the Peruvian Society for Environmental Law since February 19, 2026.

Noelia holds a technical accounting degree from the IESTP PNP General Oscar Arteta Terzi. She has experience in financial project support and internal control, with a focus on analysis, organization, and compliance with institutional guidelines, and has worked at SPDA.

As an accounting assistant, she currently provides support in the preliminary review, document validation, and processing of accounting and financial information for assigned projects. She ensures compliance with SPDA’s internal policies and the requirements of funders. She monitors, reviews documentation, and performs initial validation of expense reports for travel, events, and activities related to project staff, both nationally and internationally. She assists with internal and external project audits, including the preparation, organization, and presentation of the required supporting documentation. She verifies compliance with SPDA’s and funders’ administrative, accounting, and financial procedures, promptly flagging any potential observations or inconsistencies. Organizes, safeguards, and keeps project accounting and administrative documentation up to date, in both physical and digital formats, ensuring proper traceability, archiving, and availability for internal reviews, audits, and financial reports. Manages and verifies the relevant information for the timely processing of payments to suppliers.
