Financial, Grants, and Compliance Specialist

Daniel Vives Rivero has served as a Financial, Grants, and Compliance Specialist in the Administration, Control, and Human Resources Unit of the Peruvian Society for Environmental Law since May 11, 2026.

Daniel holds a degree in Organizational Management and a Master’s degree in Social Management from the Universidad del Pacífico. He has experience in managing international cooperation, primarily in financial monitoring, regulatory compliance, and proposal development; he has a track record in institutional leadership and capacity building; he has 10 years of experience in the environmental field and has worked at Conservation International (CI), Law, Environment, and Natural Resources (DAR), and the International Potato Center (CIP); he is also currently a university professor at the PUCP.

As a Financial, Grants, and Compliance Specialist, she currently plans and monitors the financial management of projects, as well as donation and grant agreements, and ensures compliance with obligations to the APCI.
