Aceleradores por Naturaleza

A free course that empowers young change agents from Latin America to drive innovative solutions to environmental challenges

SPDA

Latin America’s wealth is its nature and also the generation of young people who today act to protect it. For this reason, Aceleradores por Naturaleza (Accelerators for Nature) was born, a course that seeks to encourage young agents of change to propose solutions to various environmental challenges in the region.

Since its creation, Aceleradores por Naturaleza has promoted youth initiatives with a positive impact on nature and communities in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia.

The teams selected for this free course, promoted by renowned regional and international environmental organizations, learn about conservation and project design and implementation tools.

The course consists of more than twenty virtual sessions that combine theory, practice and group work taught by conservation experts. At the end of the course, participants will have increased their ability to analyze conservation challenges, design solutions, implement projects and communicate effectively.

SPDA, through Conservamos por Naturaleza (We Conserve for Nature), presents this course based on CoalitionWILD’s EXCELerator program. The 2023 edition was supported by the Wyss Academy for Nature of the University of Bern (Wyss Academy), an organization that aims to bring together innovation, research, communities and key stakeholders to co-design solutions for a sustainable future.
