Ximena Mejia Castro is currently the Communications Coordinator of the Forests and Ecosystem Services Program of the Peruvian Society of Environmental Law since 2022.
Ximena has a degree in Communication Sciences with a specialization in Multimedia Journalism from the Universidad de San Martín de Porres (USMP). She also holds a diploma in Audiovisual Production from the Universidad de Ciencias y Artes de América Latina (UCAL). She has experience in creating digital content and audiovisual pieces such as articles, podcasts and videos. Her work has been published in media such as La República newspaper and América Televisión.
As Communications Coordinator, she implements communication strategies for campaigns and projects of the program. She also coordinates digital content, events and publications that position the program’s work axes.
