Wuilmar Briceño

Wuilmar Briceño Rueda has been working as a Communications Specialist at the Madre de Dios regional office of the Peruvian Society for Environmental Law since 2023.

Wuilmar has a degree in Journalism from Jaime Bausate y Meza University. He has experience in digital, print, and radio media in Puerto Maldonado. He has worked as a communicator in public and private institutions related to the promotion of sustainable productive activities and the defense of human rights. He received a scholarship from the Mohme Llona Foundation to attend the Specialization Course in Journalism and Politics taught by the PUCP.

As a communications specialist, he is currently implementing various communication strategies to publicize the main activities carried out by his colleagues in projects involving indigenous organizations, environmental defenders, indigenous communicators, etc.
