Wendy Ancieta Sánchez currently serves as a legal coordinator in the Environmental Policy and Governance Program of the Peruvian Society of Environmental Law.
Wendy is a lawyer with a second major in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and a Master in Economic Administrative Law from the Universidad del Pacífico. She has more than 10 years of experience in energy regulation, particularly in the hydrocarbons sector, and has experience in environmental impact assessment and environmental monitoring in both the public and private sectors.
As part of the Environmental Policy and Governance Program, she currently conducts research, prepares opinions and leads strategies on issues related to environmental regulation of extractive industries, environmental oversight, decentralization and environmental institutionality.
