Juan Ignacio Sarmiento has been working as a communications specialist in the Marine Governance Program and the Conservamos por Naturaleza initiative of the Peruvian Society for Environmental Law since October 2018.
Juan Ignacio is a graphic design professional with more than two decades of experience in the field of design, possessing in-depth knowledge of graphic design, prepress, printing, screen printing, and advanced proficiency in Adobe Suite design tools, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere. He has worked in various formats, from web design to signage, advertising, editorial design, and clothing. Throughout his career, he has led and developed image and branding projects, demonstrating his ability to work in a team and his skill in conceiving creative and original ideas for specific campaigns and projects.
As a communications specialist, Juan Ignacio is responsible for coordinating digital strategies, designing communication products, supervising design projects, maintaining visual identity, collaborating closely with the communications team, advising on institutional products, actively participating in work meetings, and keeping abreast of the latest trends in graphic design. He has successfully led the development and direction of the identity of numerous campaigns for the Marine Governance Program and the Conservamos por Naturaleza initiative, as well as various print, digital, and multimedia publications that communicate the achievements of the SPDA.
