Lawyer from the National University of San Marcos, with a master’s degree in Constitutional Law from the University of Castilla La Mancha (Spain); a specialization in Constitutional Justice, interpretation, and application of the Constitution from the same university; and a specialization in Energy and Natural Resources Law from the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC).
With more than 10 years of experience in the public and private sectors, in issues related to the environment and the rights of indigenous or native peoples. He worked in the Regulatory Projects Office of the Environmental Assessment and Enforcement Agency (OEFA); as legal advisor to the Vice Ministry of Interculturality of the Ministry of Culture; as a specialist in Proética, the Peruvian chapter of Transparency International; Law, Environment and Natural Resources (DAR); as a consultant for the Oxfam Intermon Foundation and for the USAID Prevenir project.
He currently serves as Legal Advisor to the Environmental Policy and Governance Program of the Peruvian Society for Environmental Law (SPDA), an institution where he has worked since 2023.
