David Rivera del Águila

David Rivera del Águila is an economist by profession (with a degree from the Universidad del Pacífico), with more than twenty years of experience in journalism and communications.

His professional profile combines the treatment of the main economic, political and social issues of the country. Until July 2016, Rivera was director of the Peruvian edition of Poder magazine, a publication characterized by in-depth analysis and investigations. Between 2003 and 2007, he was editor of the business section of El Comercio newspaper and of the business supplement Día_1. He has also hosted the television programs Portal Financiero, Puntos de Vista and Innova Perú.
