José Alejandro Aspíllaga

José Alejandro Aspíllaga Moreyra has been working as a communications assistant at Conservamos por Naturaleza (We Conserve by Nature) of the Peruvian Society for Environmental Law since February 3, 2025.

José has a degree in Journalism from the University of Palermo (UP) and a degree in Political Science from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). He has experience in print media, television, social media management, and has worked in local government, such as the Municipality of Barranco.

As communications assistant, he is currently implementing the communications strategy for Conservamos por Naturaleza, with an emphasis on the “Surf Ecosystem Management and Blue Economy” project, and supports the initiative’s activities, such as strengthening partnerships and capacity building.

José has been a leader in social intervention roundtables, as well as a volunteer communications coordinator for environmental projects.
