Elvio Elias has been working as Institutional Strategic Coordinator in the Administration, Control, and Human Resources Unit of the Peruvian Society for Environmental Law since April 2024.
With more than 15 years of experience in international cooperation, he has developed a solid track record in the design, management, evaluation, and monitoring of sustainable development projects, including initiatives funded by USAID, NORAD, and AFD. His work has focused on strategic planning, institutional and financial management, as well as transparency and accountability, with an ongoing commitment to environmental conservation and a human rights-based approach.
He has held leadership and advisory positions in institutions such as SPDA, Asociación Civil ProRural, and the special project “Multidimensional Security Strategy in the Amazon,” in addition to consulting for national and international organizations. His training combines engineering with specialized studies in public management, monitoring and evaluation, sustainable development, and social impact project management. He has experience in the design and implementation of MEAL systems, ensuring evidence for continuous improvement.
His experience integrates a technical and strategic vision with multisectoral coordination skills, contributing to institutional strengthening and the generation of positive impacts on communities and the environment.
He has been a member of the Evaluation Committee for the “Peru for the SDGs” award.
