Rosario Tamashiro has been working as an Administrative Assistant in the Marine Governance Program and the Fishing Project of the Peruvian Society for Environmental Law since October 24, 2022.

Rosario is Executive Secretary of the Virgen de Guadalupe secretarial school, directed by Margarita Cabrera Manzur. She has experience in both the public and private sectors, having earned a Diploma in Management Assistance from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, as well as completing various courses and seminars that have trained her in her profession. In the private sector, she worked as Secretary of the Executive Directorate of the SPDA until 2005, and also served as secretary and receptionist at ProNaturaleza. In the public sector, she served as Secretary of the Technical Secretariat of the Civil Service Tribunal and the Forestry and Wildlife Tribunal of the Supervisory Agency for Forest and Wildlife Resources (OSINFOR).

As an administrative assistant, she currently provides logistical support to program and project staff in organizing meetings, workshops, and off-site events. She also follows up on processes with third parties (booking hotels, conference rooms, coffee breaks, etc.) to ensure their proper execution. She assists in the preparation of project fund requirements and reports so that they are correctly reflected in the accounting records. assists in the purchase of airline tickets and travel insurance, collaborates in coordination with the IT support office according to staff requests and requirements, assists in the reception of documents and invoices in order to forward them to the appropriate area for processing, and in the reception and dispatch of courier services.
