Bryan Jara has been working as a legal specialist in the Environmental Policy and Governance Program of the Peruvian Society for Environmental Law since 2022.
Bryan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the National University of San Marcos. He has a second specialization in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Constitutional and Human Rights Law at the National University of San Marcos. He has worked in both the public and private sectors on environmental issues.
As a legal specialist, he currently develops and implements strategies related to priority investment projects, legal analysis of legislative and regulatory initiatives, capacity building in environmental matters, and political advocacy in various areas of coordination with public and private actors, among others.
He has contributed to the development of multilevel strategies related to investment projects, while also developing various regulatory and legislative projects, as well as environmental research related to infrastructure projects and extractive sectors.
