Environmental Law Workshop

Training programme for young leaders in environmental law and sustainable natural resource management.
SPDA

With the aim of promoting intergenerational knowledge on environmental law, natural resources and academic research, SPDA organizes the Environmental Law Workshop (Taller de Derecho Ambiental – TDA). This is a series of training sessions for students and recent graduates in law or related fields from all public and private universities in the country.

For more than two decades, the TDA has positioned itself as a learning platform for students and graduates of law and related careers, providing them with the opportunity to strengthen their skills in this area through practical sessions and lectures given by specialists from the SPDA, as well as representatives of public and private sector organizations.

To date, 25 editions of the TDA have been held, adapting to a hybrid modality (face-to-face and virtual) to facilitate the participation of students from all over the country.

The TDA is developed through 32 sessions and covers topics of great interest and demand, divided into five main areas: (i) general environmental framework, (ii) industries and environment, (iii) management and sustainable use of natural resources, (iv) interculturality and environmental management, and (v) international trends.
